Huntoon Stables has been in the riding lesson business in the Fox River Valley area of northern Illinois continuously since 1932. We provide quality riding instruction on safe horses and an opportunity for young riders to reach their goals. We specialize in Saddleseat riding, which is an english style of riding, but there is no jumping involved. We participate in many of the youth activities offered through the American Saddlebred Horse Association and the American Saddlebred International Youth Program.
Our students participate in 7 or 8 local parades and 10 to 12 away horse shows each year plus we offer day camps through local Park Districts and Scout Councils as well as horsemanship classes for Waubonsee Community College.
