OUR SERVICES and RATES

LESSONS

We require new students to take two Trial Lessons. If they wish to continue with our lesson program, all lessons after the two trials are scheduled on a monthly, standing appointment basis. Except for Individual Trial Lessons, all fees are monthly rates and are due by the 10th of the month. Exception: Students who move away for college or work and who come back for short breaks may schedule individual lessons when there is an available time and horse.

Individual lessons/Trial lessons - $35.00 per half-hour lesson
Once weekly lessons - Beginning riders (walk and trot, only) - $160.00 per month for 1/2 hour private lessons
Once weekly lessons - Intermediate/Pre-Advanced riders (walk, trot and canter) - $175.00 per month. This is a group lesson time.
Twice weekly lessons - Intermediate/Pre-Advanced riders (walk, trot and canter) - $250.00 per month for one
1/2 hour private lesson plus one group lesson per week.
Show lessons - For those riders wishing to ride more often - $300.00 per month with unlimited lessons
(dependent upon horse availability).
Credit opportunities are available for some students. Check with office for details.

MISSED LESSON MAKEUP POLICY - Once & Twice Weekly Lessons will be allowed to take a make-up lesson for each lesson they cancel, provided we are notified in advance of their absence. They will also receive a makeup for any lesson cancelled by the stable. Show Lessons and Individual Lessons have no makeups.

If you discontinue lessons in the middle of a month there will be no refund for the remainder of the month. Makeup lessons may not be used as credit for lesson payments and, if you discontinue lessons, all makeups or credits earned become void.

TRAINING

$650.00 per month - Includes board, necessary training and, when appropriate, two or more lessons per week.
We do not board horses for non-students but students with their own horse may be able to board, or share-board, with us. Check with office for details.

SHOWS

We charge a formula generated fee based on days away from home, mileage, labor costs, etc. These fees are totaled and pro-rated by the number attending the show..
If you ride a stable owned horse you will be charged a Use Fee. This is an annual fee and the amount is determined by the number of students who sign up to attend shows.
In addition, you will be charged the show's rates for stalls, entry fees, office fees, etc.
The total charges vary from show to show.

TRAILERING

We are not routinely in the business of horse transportation, but we do have the necessary DOT and ICC permits and an 8 horse slant load trailer. If you have occasional trailering needs, please call Chris at 630-373-7244.
