• Each scout will learn the basics of how to mount a horse and how to hold their reins. In addition, they will get to ride two times around our indoor arena, but they will be lead while riding.

• The cost is $8.00 per Scout. There is no charge for leaders and leaders will not be allowed to ride.

• We conduct this program on Saturday afternoons from 4 to 6 P.M. and only on certain Saturdays.

  We operate a large lesson program throughout the week and are not able to conduct special programs on weekdays or earlier on Saturdays. In addition we travel to horse shows and parades on some weekends plus conduct special classes for Park Districts on some weekends. Therefore, we are only able to schedule Scout programs on a limited number of Saturdays throughout the year. We schedule more than one troop at a time and limit the size of the program to about 35-40 children.
